So how is it going to work. Is this spot going to compete with anonpit or somehow be each others backup?

Back up. I had set up my other one before I even realised about anon pit.

Can we stay here? I hate livejournal. This is nicer. Also trainwreckmod, you are the best.

This place is definitely much better without that annoying pop-up window for comments.

Is it possible to have threaded discussions? Really hard to hold long branching converstations without them.

I think you can have threads, involves html editing, so if anyone here is good at that I would very much appreciate your help.

I thought if I changed my time to AEST it would change all the times which would just confuse the majority of people here. Best off leave it as is.
If you are who I think you are Sydney snarker, then I would enjoy your help ;)

Pretty much everything about this blogger can be changed. You have access to the source code, and you can edit it. I however, do not have html skills that great.

I don't have your email (it doesn't send it to me when you comment) unless of course you mean that you have sent me an email previously, then in that case, I know exactly who you are and would love to have you on board.
Yay! I can log in.

According to The Age (I'm not Australian -- is that a reputable paper?), it appears that LiveJournal is the only weblog software to offer threaded comments -- so it appears it can't be done, CSS or not. I'm not sure if there's a way to put a "quote" button (a la SDMB) into the replies, though.

We need a setup like www.ljdrama.org. But I think they're aping blog software rather than using it. Even just a counter by each post would help as you could say:

"@8 No actually you're fat"

or whatever.

The Age is talking out of its ass. A quick google found this, and I'm sure there are others:

"bBlog is used by thousands of bloggers world wide and has not only the features you would expect from a modern blogging system, but also advanced capabilities including advanced comment spam prevention and threaded comments."
